At Ziehl-Abegg, we are one of the world's leading manufacturers of ventilation, control, and drive technology. We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Senior Technical Purchase Engineer to strengthen our Procurement Team and support our continued growth in APAC.

What You'll Do
- Source and procure technical materials, components, and industrial equipment to support manufacturing operations.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and R&D teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
- Identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and service.
- Support supplier audits, qualification processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation through ERP systems.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience sourcing technical products, machinery, motors, fans, electrical components, or industrial equipment.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC, ventilation systems, motors, or industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and supplier quality management.
- Experience working with international suppliers and global sourcing activities.
