At Ziehl-Abegg, we are one of the world's leading manufacturers of ventilation, control, and drive technology. At Ziehl-Abegg APAC, we are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Senior Technical Purchase Engineer to strengthen our Procurement Team and support our continued growth in APAC.

What You'll Do

• Source and procure technical materials, components, and industrial equipment to support manufacturing operations.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and R&D teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and service.
• Support supplier audits, qualification processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation through ERP systems.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

• 5–10 years of professional experience in plastics technology and/or composite toolmaking

• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes, tooling, and composite technologies

• Experience in technical purchasing, supplier development, or tooling projects is an advantage

• Ability to understand and analyze engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product requirements

• Strong English communication skills at a professional working level

• Strong negotiation, project management, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, engineering, production, and international teams

• Willingness to work in an international and cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, ventilation systems, motors, or industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and supplier quality management.
• Experience working with international suppliers and global sourcing activities.
