About the job
Drive our long-term growth by securing our premium HVAC solutions into the technical specifications of major commercial, industrial, and mega projects across Thailand. Operating at the upstream stage of construction, this role leads strategic engagement with top-tier developers, M&E consultants, and architects. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical mastery of HVAC engineering and an influential network within the building technology sector.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Blueprint & Execution: Formulate and execute target-driven strategies to guarantee the brand is included in the Approved Vendor Lists of upcoming large-scale projects.
- Upstream Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with Principal M&E Designers, Design Consultants, Property Developers, and Architects.
- Technical Advisory & Pre-Sales Support: Lead high-level technical presentations regarding energy efficiency, sustainability, and life-cycle costs of complex HVAC systems (e.g., Chillers, VRF, Air Handling Units).
- Engineering Collaboration: Work alongside M&E design teams during the initial conceptual phase to provide precise heat-load calculations, system layouts, and equipment sizing.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor movements, analyze market gaps, and counter alternative specifications by offering superior engineering alternatives.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with the Project Sales team to ensure successful handovers when projects move from specification to the active bidding and procurement phase.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior specification/application engineers to elevate their technical knowledge and consulting skills.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years of total experience in the HVAC or Building Technologies industry.
- At least 3+ years in a senior/managerial role managing specifications, plan-and-spec sales, or design engineering.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in locking specifications (Spec-In) for prominent landmark projects, commercial high-rises, hospitals, or industrial facilities in Thailand.
- The Network: A strong, existing network with Top 10 M&E design consultant firms and major real estate developers in Thailand.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of HVAC technology (Chiller systems, VRF, ventilation, building management systems) and proficiency in AutoCAD or specialized load-calculation software.
- Language & Communication: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. Fluency in English is required for high-level corporate interactions.
