Develop and produce key telecommunications engineering documents, including standards and specifications, system block diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering calculations (e.g., radio traffic, PABX traffic, radio path loss, and PAGA sound coverage)
Review and approve all telecom-related drawings and documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance with project requirements,and adherence to quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to telecommunication systems throughout all project phases
Prepare material requisitions, perform technical bid evaluations, and review vendor drawings and documentation
Participate in and provide technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for telecomequipment
Collaborate with electrical designers in the preparation and refinement of telecom and electrical drawings
Review and provide input on project schedules, identifying potential risks and ensuring alignment with engineering deliverables
Contribute to project cost estimates by providing data on manpower, materials, and required engineering man-hours
Conduct site inspections, verification activities, and field assessments as required to support design and construction
Develop specifications and procedures for installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications systems
Support construction, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure successful deployment of telecom systems at project sites
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience
Demonstrated experience in telecommunication engineering for Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, or pharmaceutical plant projects
Strong knowledge of applicable international codes and standards used in telecommunication system design
Extensive hands-on experience in the design and integration of telecommunications systems, including: PA/GA and Talk-Back systems, Telephone systems (Analog and VoIP), WAN/LAN networks, CCTV systems, Radio systems (UHF, VHF, DTRS), including antenna and tower requirements, Access Control Systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel for preparing, modifying, and managing telecom and electrical reports and schedules
Highly motivated, well-organized, resourceful, and proactive, with strong problemsolving capabilities
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English
