Job Description

About the role

In this role, you will take technical ownership of end-to-end test development—including test architecture, ATE software programming, hardware design (Load Boards & Probe Cards), and yield optimization. We have multiple positions open across mid-level to senior tracks, offering great opportunities to shape our next-generation test infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Strategy & Architecture: Define and execute Chip Probing (CP) and Final Test (FT) strategies based on product specifications and Design-for-Test (DFT) requirements.
  • ATE Development: Program, debug, and optimize test routines for precision analog, ADC/DAC, power management, or mixed-signal ICs on mainstream ATE platforms.
  • Hardware Solutions: Lead or review ATE hardware design, including Load Boards, Probe Cards, and interface hardware to ensure signal integrity and manufacturability.
  • NPI to Mass Production: Lead NPI test bring-up, characterization, and silicon validation, ensuring smooth handoff to volume production.
  • Yield & Quality Enhancement: Analyze production data, perform root-cause analysis on yield degradation or test escapes, and implement continuous improvement actions.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management: Collaborate closely with OSATs, foundry partners, and vendor design teams for hardware manufacturing, correlation, and production release.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Integrated Circuits, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on ATE test development experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • ATE Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major standard ATE platform (e.g., Teradyne ETS / UltraFLEX, NI STS / PXI, or Advantest).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages used in test environments (e.g., C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, or Python).
  • Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of analog/mixed-signal measurement principles (e.g., precision analog, power management, ADC/DAC, or RF fundamentals).
  • Hardware Design: Familiarity with ATE test hardware schematic design and PCB layouts (load boards, DIBs, probe cards).

Preferred Skills

  • Strong track record of taking products from initial silicon bring-up to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Spotfire, DataPOWER) and yield management platforms.
  • Experience managing supplier/OSAT technical reviews and execution.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
