Senior Vendor Compliance Auditor (Thailand)
Job Duties :
General :
The Senior Vendor Compliance Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring our brand's commitment to ethical and socially responsible production practices across our global supply chain. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive social compliance audits at factories producing L.L.Bean goods worldwide. The Senior Vendor Compliance Auditor evaluates adherence to the company's Code of Conduct, applicable labor laws, and health and safety standards. By identifying areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions, this role supports our mission to uphold the highest standards of social responsibility in our manufacturing processes. Additionally, the Senior Vendor Compliance Auditor represents L.L.Beanin factory audits andvendor meetings to address critical compliance issues and foster collaborative relationships.
Specific :
Conduct Social Compliance Audits:
oPerform thorough social compliance audits at factories producing L.L.Bean goods worldwide.
oEvaluate adherence to L.L.Bean's Code of Conduct, applicable labor laws and health and safety standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
oDraft detailed audit reports highlighting areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions, as well as the approval or rejection of factories.
oMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all audit findings and follow-up actions.
Corrective Action Management:
oCollaborate with factory management to develop and implement effective corrective action plans.
oMonitor and track progress on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of compliance issues.
Vendor Relations:
oParticipate in meetings with vendors, factories and the sourcing team to address serious compliance issues.
oBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors and factories, providing guidance and support to help them resolve compliance issues.
Capacity Analysis:
Knowledge and Industry Awareness:
oStay updated on international labor standards and social compliance trends to ensure best practices.
Team Collaboration:
oParticipate in team meetings, training sessions, and other programs designed to enhance knowledge and improve the performance of the team.
oWork closely with the audit team to plan, conduct, and report on social compliance audits at production factories. Ensure seamless communication and coordination to achieve comprehensive audit results and uphold L.L.Bean's standards.
Travel:
oTravel extensively (50% - 75% of the time) to conduct audits and meet with vendors and factories.
Additional Projects:
Undertake additional projects related to social compliance as assigned by management, which may include:
Oversee external audit processes, such as the Social Labor Convergence Program (SLCP), agent audits, and third-party audits.
Manage part of the internal and external communications with the Sourcing team and factories.
Coordinate online training programs to prepare factories for audit and implement corrective action plans.
Handle other assignments related to social compliance as directed by management.
