Position : Senior Vice President Operation & Maintenance (O&M)
Job Purpose:
To lead and oversee the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) business of renewable energy assets, ensuring operational excellence, maximum plant performance, cost efficiency, safety compliance, and long-term asset sustainability. The SVP will define strategic direction, manage multi-site operations teams, and drive continuous improvement and innovation across all O&M functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Strategic & Leadership
- Define and implement the O&M strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and growth direction.
- Lead and manage the O&M division, covering solar, wind, and other renewable energy power plants (domestic and international).
- Develop and execute business expansion and performance improvement plans to maximize asset value and profitability.
- Establish KPIs and performance frameworks to monitor plant efficiency, reliability, and energy yield.
- Provide strategic leadership in technology adoption, predictive maintenance, and digital transformation initiatives.
2.Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance activities to ensure plant availability and performance meet or exceed contractual obligations.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards (including ISO and ESG frameworks).
- Review and approve annual O&M budgets, cost control measures, and resource allocation.
- Manage contracts and service agreements with vendors, contractors, and partners.
- Support due diligence, commissioning, and handover processes for new power plant projects.
3.People & Organization
- Build and develop high-performance teams of engineers, technicians, and site managers.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous learning environment across all O&M sites.
- Coach and mentor key leaders and ensure effective succession planning within the O&M organization.
4.Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (EPC, Asset Management, Engineering, Finance, and BD) to ensure seamless plant operation and handover.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, partners, and government authorities.
- Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to the executive committee and board of directors.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering or related field; MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 1520 years of experience in operation & maintenance or power plant management, including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role.
- Strong background in renewable energy (solar, wind, hybrid systems, or energy storage).
- Proven track record in managing multi-site O&M operations and optimizing asset performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of CMMS, SCADA systems, predictive maintenance tools, and ESG practices.
- Strong command of both Thai and English (spoken and written).
