The SEO Specialist is responsible for optimizing website content and structure to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. This role involves keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and performance analysis to support overall digital marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify growth opportunities
- Optimize website content (on-page SEO), including meta tags, headings, and internal linking
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings
- Perform technical SEO audits (site speed, mobile optimization, crawlability, indexing)
- Build and manage backlinks (off-page SEO)
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance and KPIs
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams
- Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and search engine algorithms
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz)
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with content marketing and copywriting
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles
- Experience in e-commerce or international SEO
- Basic knowledge of paid search (Google Ads) is a plus
