Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform machine installation, setup, and customer training on MEI CNC lensedging equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and calibration to ensure equipment reliability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic technical issues.
• Provide remote technical support for component replacement or operational issues (via phone/email).
• Accurately record and report customer issues to the Customer Service Director / Service Manager.
• Develop and update knowledge-based documents (FAQs) for recurring problems.
• Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows, and support machine demonstrations when required.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and urgent service calls (domestic & overseas).

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience working with industrial machinery or CNC equipment is an advantage.
• Good command of English, and Mandarin is beneficial (depending on region).
• Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving capabilities.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently for customer visits, training, and machine support.
• Customer-oriented, with good communication and documentation skills.
