Your role and responsibilities

As a Service Tender Engineer within ABB's Electrification Service business, you will play a key role in supporting our Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal and tendering process. You will prepare clear and accurate technical descriptions, determine solution costs, and develop highquality proposal documentation. Your work will directly influence our ability to win projects and deliver value to customers across the region.

You will also apply your analytical mindset by conducting lostproposal reviews, identifying root causes, and recommending actions to strengthen future competitiveness.


The work model for the role is: Onsite #onsite


This role contributes to the Electrification Service business in Thailand. Key stakeholders include the local Sales team, Service Operations, Feeder Factories, and endcustomers across industrial, commercial, and utility sectors.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting the Sales organization and customers in identifying the most technically appropriate and costeffective solutions.
  • Preparing or supporting the preparation of technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications, feeder factory inputs, and Sales directives.
  • Analyzing customer requirements and competitor offerings using market intelligence and insights from the Sales team.
  • Defining solution costs and communicating them clearly to the Sales organization.
  • Ensuring all proposal documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with ABB standards.
  • Conducting lostproposal analysis and recommending improvement actions.

Qualifications for the role
  • Strong capability and enjoyment working with tendering tools, costestimation methodologies, and technical evaluation processes within the electrical or industrial service sector.
  • 1-2 years of experience in tendering, proposals, service engineering, or a related technical field - recent graduates with strong academic performance or internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency with relevant software platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, tendering tools, or electrical design applications.
  • Strong soft skills such as stakeholder communication, problemsolving, and analytical thinking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Comfortable communicating in Thai and English.
  • Holds a valid Thai driving license and any required work permits applicable to the role.
