Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly driven and result-oriented Sales Service Manager to lead services sales across Applications, Database, Systems, Cloud, and AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and driving revenue growth within an assigned territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

This role requires a strong understanding of customer business objectives, the ability to position innovative and customized service solutions, and proven experience in closing complex deals. The candidate should be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines and must demonstrate excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across Applications, Database, Systems, Cloud, and AI services.
  • Generate new customer leads through market research, networking, referrals, partner channels, and strategic outreach.
  • Develop and execute territory, account, and sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage them through the complete sales cycle.
  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new accounts and expanding business within existing customer accounts.

Account Management

  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, CXOs, business leaders, IT stakeholders, and procurement teams.
  • Understand customer business priorities, pain points, and transformation goals to recommend relevant service offerings.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing consultative, value-based solutions.
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Solution Selling

  • Sell services across enterprise technology areas including Applications, Database, Systems, Cloud, AI, and related managed/professional services.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, delivery teams, and technical experts to design customer-specific solutions.
  • Translate customer requirements into compelling business proposals and value propositions.
  • Present differentiated service offerings that address customer challenges and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to offer innovative and out-of-the-box solutions aligned with customer objectives.

Sales Cycle Management

  • Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, closure, and handover to delivery teams.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, commercial offers, and contract documentation.
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations to close deals successfully.
  • Manage complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and longer decision cycles.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and CRM updates.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, pre-sales, delivery, finance, legal, and leadership.
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from sales closure to project execution.
  • Provide market intelligence, customer insights, competitor analysis, and feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization professionally in customer meetings, industry events, partner discussions, and business forums.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in services sales, preferably in enterprise technology, IT services, cloud services, AI, applications, database, systems, or digital transformation solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong experience in new customer acquisition and account expansion.
  • Ability to understand complex business and technology requirements and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and deal-closing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and business cases.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling mindset.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in varied and complex sales situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate degree preferred, such as MBA or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience selling enterprise IT services, managed services, cloud solutions, AI services, or digital transformation engagements.
  • Experience working with large enterprise accounts, strategic accounts, or complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting processes.
  • Existing network within enterprise customers, industry segments, or partner ecosystems will be an advantage.
