-Conduct comprehensive quality testing of CBFS, Oils, and Carbon Black in accordance with plant standards and procedures.
-Perform routine laboratory analyses to ensure compliance with established specifications and identify any deviations or non-conformities.
-Operate advanced testing instruments and apply appropriate testing methodologies to obtain accurate and reliable results.
-Record, maintain, and report test results accurately, ensuring all laboratory documentation is complete, current, and traceable.
-Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
-Continuously review and improve testing methods and laboratory practices to enhance overall quality control effectiveness.
-Carry out laboratory activities including equipment calibration and record-keeping in line with defined schedules, ensuring no deviations.
-Meet all procedural and compliance requirements and utilize KSS systems to prevent failures.
-Optimize laboratory maintenance costs while maintaining operational efficiency and testing performance in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards.
-Monitor laboratory upkeep to ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
-Maintain the laboratory working environment to support testing accuracy and compliance with quality requirements.
-Ensure implementation and sustainability of 5S and Quality Circle activities within the laboratory.
-Monitor quality inspection of in-process products and promptly communicate results to the Control Room and Warehouse teams.
-Ensure availability of tested and approved materials for dispatch.
-Allocate quality-approved materials in accordance with customer specifications and contract review requirements.
-Monitor timely material allocation, vessel loading, and release of Certificates of Analysis (COA) to support on-time delivery.
-Maintain documentation to comply with global safety and hazard communication standards, including OHSAS 18001 requirements.
-Ensure 100% compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) within the laboratory.
-Provide on-the-job safety training and conduct task observations during critical activities to ensure safe working practices.
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, preferably in Chemistry.
-Willingness and ability to work in shift schedules.
-Minimum 3-6 years of experience in Quality Control with knowledge of Carbon Black testing and audit requirements.
-Prepare and circulate laboratory reports in coordination with the QC Section Head.
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
-Knowledge of statistical quality tools, including the 7 QC tools.
-Experience in laboratory equipment handling, accuracy assurance, and maintenance activities.
-Participation in MSA studies, ILC, and international ILC / Proficiency Testing (PT) programs.
