Job Description

Join the team driving operational excellence at Kellanova's Chon Buri plant in Thailand! We're looking for a dynamic and hands-on leader to take charge of shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this impactful on-site role, you'll lead and inspire a high-performing operations team, ensuring world-class standards across Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.

As a key member of the plant leadership team, you'll play a critical role in shaping a culture of performance, accountability and continuous improvement. You'll empower teams, optimize daily operations and help deliver the Site's Compelling Business Needs (CBN) through strong leadership, collaboration and operational expertise.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensuring that the shift team complies with Safety, Food Safety & Regulatory requirements in our operations
  • Creating a safe environment and producing high quality products by ensuring compliance with Kellanova policies, programs and activities
  • Performing Gemba walks in the shop floor to ensure adherence to Safety Seven & Golden Six norms
  • Managing the manufacturing in shift by ensuring adherence to the production Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) while operating the equipment and upholding Autonomous Maintenance (AM) requirements
  • Supervising various activities carried out by the Operations Technicians to ensure production schedules are met and we reach the optimal service level and cost with good manufacturing standards
  • Upholding shifts compliance, participation and development of the Kellanova Work Systems (KWS) culture across the plant. Enhance KWS ways of working by enabling Daily Direction Setting (DDS) & Daily Management System (DMS) processes
  • Ensuring and managing technical and leadership competency development of their operations Technicians in line with their skill matrix requirements
  • Driving engagement on the shop floor by enabling various campaigns and other employee engagement activities to run from time to time by Plant Leadership Team
  • Establishing good communication with the shop floor and performing 1:1 with all direct reports
  • Managing their assigned shift team (HR process) in terms of vacation, absence, leaves, extra hours, as well as execution of disciplinary actions

What You Look Like:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing, plant operations, or production management within a fast-paced industrial or FMCG environment
  • Proven experience leading and managing shift operations teams to achieve production, quality, safety and cost targets
  • Strong knowledge of Safety, Food Safety, Regulatory compliance and manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience with continuous improvement practices such as Gemba walks, Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and Daily Management Systems (DMS)
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills, including employee engagement, performance management and competency development
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing workforce planning and HR-related processes including scheduling, attendance, overtime, leave management and disciplinary actions
