Nippon Koei Energy Solutions Introduction

Our holding company, ID&E Holdings Co., Ltd. (ID&E), was officially established on 3 July 2023. The Consulting Business, Urban & Spatial Development Business, and Energy Business, which were previously the business divisions of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NK) which is Japan's No.1 International Engineering Consultants in terms of size and turnover for consulting services, became independent as separate corporate organizations. Among these, Nippon Koei Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NKES) commenced its operations on 1 October 2023, drawing on the foundations of NK's DNA, the energy management, manufacturing, construction & installation, and electro-mechanical consulting fields have been retained; and we continue to provide one-stop services pertaining to energy.

Work Environment

We are looking for a Senior Site Civil Engineer - to support efficiently the expansion of our activities in Energy. Your added value, with the support of a team, will be maximize the company's profitability and client satisfaction. You will evolve in an international environment and work in close coordination with other teams throughout the company to deliver projects at the highest quality standards.

Missions

  • Support Site Manager in reviewing and approving civil construction documents: earthworks, foundations, access roads, drainage, structural details.
  • Monitor EPC contractor's civil works execution; ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Witness and verify civil inspections per ITPs; document findings and follow up on nonconformances. Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, and environmental teams to resolve civilrelated issues.
  • Review contractor submittals (method statements, survey plans, test reports) and issue technical queries or approvals.
  • Verify progress for civil scopes against milestones; advise Owner on payment recommendations.
  • Ensure civil works comply with environmental protection measures (e.g., erosion control, sedimentation).
  • Contribute to commissioning handover of civil assets (roads, cable trenches, foundations).
  • Prepare input for weekly/monthly reports on civil site activities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years in civil engineering for largescale infrastructure or power projects.
  • At least 2 solar PV or renewable energy projectssite execution focus.
  • Fluent in English technical reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of geotechnical investigations, earthworks, drainage design.
  • Strong documentreview and fieldinspection skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multisector teams and enforce QA/QC.
  • Good reportwriting and stakeholder communication.
