Site Manager (Petfood), Thailand

The Site Production Manager is responsible for leading all manufacturing operations within the production facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output that meets customer demand and regulatory requirements which drives operational excellence across production, planning, safety, quality, and continuous improvement while fostering a strong performance culture and cross-functional collaboration.


The Position:

Production & Operations Management

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations (grinding, cooking, mixing, blending, packaging)
  • Ensure on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery aligned with demand planning and sales forecasts
  • Optimize production capacity, line efficiency, and labour utilization
  • Monitor KPIs including OEE, yield, waste reduction, downtime, and cost per ton.


Food Safety & Quality Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO/FSSC standards, and local regulatory requirements
  • Maintain strict adherence to petfood safety standards and traceability systems
  • Partner with Quality teams to manage audits, corrective actions, and continuous
    improvement initiatives.

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Drive a zero-incident safety culture
  • Ensure compliance with local EHS regulations and corporate safety policies
  • Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and preventive action programs
  • Follow global guidelines and programs.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop production supervisors, shift leaders, and operators
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability
  • Drive employee engagement, training, and succession planning.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Management

  • Implement Lean Manufacturing / TPM initiatives
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety
  • Lead capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, R&D, Maintenance, and Commercial teams
  • Support new product launches and scale-ups in collaboration with technical teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 8-12 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in petfood, food, or feed production
  • Strong knowledge of extrusion processes and dry petfood manufacturing is highly preferred
  • Proven leadership experience managing large production teams
  • Strong understanding of food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, FSSC/ISO)
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies.
