JOB DESCRIPTION: Site Planner – Thailand (Global Collaboration Role)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and system-driven Site Planner with strong expertise in SAP and MRP planning to support our manufacturing operations in Thailand.

This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a chemical or process manufacturing environment and enjoy collaborating within a global supply chain network.

You will play a key role in ensuring material readiness, production alignment, and data accuracy in SAP, directly impacting service level and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand while optimizing site capacity, resources, and efficiency
  • Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, in close collaboration with Procurement and Warehouse teams
  • Partner with regional and global supply planning teams to provide visibility on site capacity, constraints, and potential risks, ensuring alignment with global priorities
  • Work closely with Production Scheduler to adjust plans based on real-time constraints, including equipment downtime, material shortages, and labor availability
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key planning KPIs (e.g., schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, material availability), providing actionable insights for decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, system efficiency, and process standardization across the site

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in production planning within chemical, textile, or process manufacturing industries
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems (planning modules preferred)
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including warehouse and logistics operations
  • Advanced analytical skills (Excel, BI tools), with strong knowledge of BOM, routing, and capacity planning
  • Proven experience working in a regional or global planning environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional and multicultural teams
