Job Description
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of all utility systems, including water treatment, electrical distribution, steam, compressed air, and refrigeration.
- Ensure all utilities and engineering processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ISO).
- Lead and develop the engineering and utilities team, providing technical guidance, training, and performance management.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximise equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Collaborate with Production, QA, and Supply Chain to support smooth plant operations and resolve technical issues.
- Manage engineering projects, including system upgrades, energy-saving initiatives, and capacity expansion.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse system performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and overall plant reliability.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid background in utilities or engineering management within a food manufacturing environment.
- Possess a Professional Engineering License.
- Strong team-management capability with the ability to be hands-on when required.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
