Snowflake Developer

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and implement data solutions using Snowflake Data Platform.
• Create and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake-specific functions.
• Perform ETL operations (Extract, Transform, Load) to integrate data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Optimize the performance of Snowflake queries and database structures.
• Design and maintain data models and schemas to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Work closely with data analysts and business users to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, query performance, and data integrity.
• Implement data security and governance practices in Snowflake.
• Create documentation for data solutions, processes, and best practices.
• Stay updated with Snowflakes new features and best practices to continuously improve system performance.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience working with Snowflake Data Platform.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and working with large datasets.
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica) and integrating with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data modeling principles (dimensional, star, snowflake schemas).
• Hands-on experience with data loading, querying, and performance optimization in Snowflake.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
