Job Description
- Integrated Resource Planning
- Comprehensive Manpower Planning: Develop and manage the SOC manpower model, ensuring staffing
levels are optimized for peak and non-peak periods, in alignment with Machine by stations and Productivity
feasibility
- Asset & Equipment Forecasting cooperate with asset and costing team: Project requirements for non-human
resources (e.g., pallets, cages, hand-jacks, scanners) based on projected throughput and project timelines.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure resource
availability matches the launch dates of new SOC, expansion zones, or process changes.
- Continuous Improvement & Initiatives
- Manpower Initiative Lead: Identify productivity gaps and implement Manpower Initiatives (e.g., incentive
schemes, shift restructuring, or cross-training modules) to boost PPH.
- Process Optimization: Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
to reduce waste in resource utilization.
- Performance Analytics: Audit the Resource vs. Output efficiency and present data-driven
recommendations to senior leadership.
- Regional and CMM Integration
- Work with CMM, serve as the local lead for the Regional Model/ PPH Optimization Algorithm, translating
technical outputs into real-world asset and labor plans.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Work with related parties ie Costing Team, Asset Team, Opx, SWP to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
- Experience 46 years in a high-volume Sortation Center or Warehouse environment; proven experience
in Resource Planning and Project Management.
- Ability to build timelines that synchronize HC, assets (pallets/equipment), and operational milestones.
- Ability to transform raw volume data into a physical resource requirement plan And plug in with others factor ie arrival curve, FFM rate, machine PPH etc
