The Role

We are looking for an experienced Social Commerce Lead to lead the recruitment and onboarding function and help the Flywheel bring in top talents in a timely, efficient & cost-effective manner while promoting diverse & inclusive hiring practices. We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Livestream Studio Lead to oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of our livestream production operations. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, engaging livestream content that enhances brand visibility and drives audience engagement.

As the Lead, you will be responsible for managing a state-of-the-art studio, leading a team of technical and creative professionals, and ensuring seamless production workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align livestream content with strategic goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Studio Management
    • Oversee daily operations of the livestream studio, including equipment, scheduling, and space management.
    • Maintain and update production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Establish and enforce operational workflows, safety protocols, and production standards.
  • Production Oversight
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute live broadcasts, ensuring seamless delivery.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop livestream content ideas that align with brand objectives.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues during live events to minimize downtime or disruptions.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a team of producers, technicians, and content creators.
    • Assign roles and responsibilities for each production and ensure accountability.
    • Provide training on live production tools and techniques to enhance team skills.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Manage and operate livestream platforms, broadcast software, and studio equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio systems, and encoders.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in live production.
    • Evaluate and implement new tools or methods to improve efficiency and production quality.
  • Performance Optimization
    • Monitor analytics and audience feedback to refine content and engagement strategies.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote livestream events and maximize reach.
    • Identify and address areas for improvement in both production and team performance.
Who we look for - the ideal profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Broadcasting, Media Studies, Marketing or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in livestream production or a similar role in eCommerce.
  • Proven track record of managing a livestream studio and producing high-quality content.
  • Expertise in livestreaming software and equipment, including cameras, audio systems, and video switchers.
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows, lighting setups, and audio mixing.
  • Creative storytelling ability with a strong eye for detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in content creation for e-commerce, gaming, or social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure livestream performance.
