Role Description
- The Social Media & Content Manager is a key support team member of the Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts brands. The core responsibilities for this position include:
- Developing and executing content and social media strategies across the Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
- Managing the organisation's social media channels and content ecosystem to increase brand awareness, audience engagement and support commercial objectives.
- Creating and coordinating content across multiple hotel brands, destinations, campaigns, and regions.
- Supporting hotels with content planning, social media best practices, brand compliance and campaign execution.
- Monitoring social media and content performance, providing reporting, insights and recommendations to support business growth and direct revenue initiatives.
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Studio Management
- Develop and manage content strategies across the Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts portfolio, ensuring all content supports brand positioning, hotel objectives, campaign activity and commercial priorities.
- Create and coordinate content including social media posts, reels, stories, short-form video, campaign assets, hotel updates, destination content and promotional material across multiple brands and regions.
- Manage content calendars, production schedules, asset libraries and content workflows to ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with brand standards.
- Coordinate content requirements with hotels, regional teams, agencies, photographers, videographers, influencers and creative partners.
- Identify content opportunities across hotels, destinations, guest experiences, seasonal campaigns and brand initiatives to improve engagement, awareness, and commercial performance.
- Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines, tone of voice, campaign messaging, accessibility standards and platform best practice.
Social Media Management & Performance
- Manage the day-to-day operation of social media channels across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta Business Suite and other approved platforms.
- Schedule, publish and optimise content across social media channels, ensuring activity aligns with brand standards, audience behaviour, campaign timelines and hotel priorities.
- Monitor audience engagement, comments, direct messages, reviews, and community interactions, escalating guest service, brand, or reputational matters where required.
- Develop and implement organic social media strategies designed to improve audience growth, engagement, reach, brand awareness, and campaign performance.
- Monitor platform trends, competitor activity, algorithm updates and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Commercial Support
- Develop and maintain social media measurement frameworks to accurately track content performance, audience growth, engagement, referral traffic and campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare monthly social media and content performance reports, including strategic insights, recommendations and commentary for management reporting.
- Contribute social media and campaign performance data to monthly P&L reporting, commercial reviews, executive reports and board papers.
Training
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms, content creation trends, digital marketing developments, hospitality marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.
- To participate actively in Company, Hotel and Commercial training programs and ensure sound knowledge and adherence to the training outcomes is actioned.
- Participate and complete Hotel Marketing courses on Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts Academy LMS Platform
