We're looking for a Social Media Specialist & Content Creator who can bring these three worlds to life — online.

Role Scope

  • Multi-Platform Management: Build, manage, and grow the digital presence of all VHG Hospitality Asia properties across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • End-to-End Content Creation: Produce high-quality, hands-on content including photography, short-form video (Reels/TikTok), copywriting, and brand storytelling.
  • Brand Storytelling: Communicate each property's unique ecological, cultural, and experiential identity to a global audience, maintaining distinct voices for each brand.
  • Drive Business Growth: Create engaging content that inspires travelers, builds loyal online communities, and directly drives bookings.
  • Data-Driven Creative: Combine creative excellence with data-driven thinking to optimize social media performance within a lean, high-autonomy team.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Channel Strategy: Develop and execute property-specific strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Content Calendar: Build and manage monthly content calendars aligned with booking seasons and marketing campaigns.
  • Community & Influencers: Manage daily community engagement and coordinate partnerships with travel influencers and eco-advocates.
  • Analytics: Monitor channel performance and deliver monthly reports on growth, engagement, and reach.

Content Creation (Photo & Video)

  • On-Site Shooting: Travel to properties to capture high-quality photography and video (landscapes, villas, F&B, and guest experiences).
  • Video Production: Produce and edit engaging short-form vertical videos (Reels/TikTok) and long-form promotional videos for YouTube.
  • Asset Management: Edit/retouch photos to match brand aesthetics and maintain an organized digital asset library.

Copywriting & Brand Voice

  • Copywriting: Write engaging, SEO-friendly English captions and campaign narratives focused on sustainable and luxury travel.
  • Brand Voice: Maintain distinct brand voices across channels and contribute copy for newsletters and blogs.

Paid Media & Collaboration

  • Paid Social: Set up and manage targeted Meta ad campaigns to boost direct bookings.
  • Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with Property Managers to source local stories and support the Head of Marketing with assets for press kits and OTA listings.

What You Bring

Experience & Portfolio

  • Experience: 3+ years in social media & content creation (Hospitality, Travel, Eco-tourism, or Lifestyle sectors). Must provide a portfolio.
  • Solo Content Production: Proficient in independent photography (DSLR/Mirrorless) and short-form video shooting/editing without a crew.
  • Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Meta Business Suite (including basic paid ads).
  • Software Skills: Skilled in Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro/Final Cut, and mobile editing tools like CapCut.
  • Language & Copywriting: Strong Thai & English copywriting skills for captions, narratives, and scripts.

Technical Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience with luxury boutique hotels, eco-lodges, or glamping brands.
  • Drone photography/videography skills (DJI) with valid certification.
  • Basic graphic design (Canva Pro / Adobe Express) and social analytics (Google Analytics / Meta Pixel).
  • Familiarity with sustainable tourism and conservation principles.

Tools & Platforms

  • Social & Ads: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite
  • Management & Analytics: Later / Planoly, Google Analytics, Notion, WhatsApp
  • Creative Tools: Canva, Adobe Lightroom, CapCut, Premiere Pro

  • Eco-Creative Vision: Ability to turn nature and guest experiences into compelling visual stories for eco-conscious travelers.
  • Multi-Brand Integrity: Strong eye for aesthetic consistency across multiple properties while maintaining distinct brand voices.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable using platform analytics to optimize and refine content strategies.
  • High Autonomy: Self-motivated and highly organized; capable of managing calendars, travel, and deadlines across properties independently.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: A respectful approach to portraying local communities and natural environments (especially for properties in Cambodia & Northern Thailand).
  • Adventure-Ready: Comfortable traveling and working in remote eco-lodge environments (jungles, tented camps, mountains).

Salary, Benefits & Offers

  • Salary: 32,000 – 36,000 THB/month (depending on experience)
  • Holidays: 12 days per year + 1 additional day per year of employment
