Key Responsibilities
Business & Solution Alignment
Collaborate with business and architecture teams to translate business requirements into actionable software solutions
Partner with Principal Architect to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with technical standards
Create solution proposals and technical specifications that balance business needs with technical constraints
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and solution design workshops
Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives and ROI targets
Delivery Excellence
Work closely with development teams to ensure on-time delivery with uncompromising quality standards
Implement and monitor delivery processes that guarantee predictable, high-quality outcomes
Drive sprint planning, release management, and delivery ceremonies
Remove blockers and resolve conflicts to maintain delivery momentum
Establish quality gates and acceptance criteria aligned with business requirements
Stakeholder Management & Sales Support
Deliver compelling presentations to C-level stakeholders on solution capabilities and delivery status
Support business development and sales teams with solution presentations during client pitches
Create and present technical demos that showcase our capabilities to prospects
Serve as technical authority during RFP responses and proposal development
Build confidence with stakeholders through clear communication of complex technical concepts
Vendor & Partnership Management
Coordinate with external vendors to integrate third-party solutions into our delivery pipeline
Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and delivery commitments
Evaluate build vs. buy decisions with total cost of ownership analysis
Ensure vendor deliverables meet our quality standards and timelines
Negotiate technical requirements and delivery schedules with external partners
Resource Planning & Budgeting
Develop accurate resource plans for software delivery initiatives
Create and manage program budgets, tracking actuals vs. forecasts
Optimize resource allocation across internal teams and external vendors
Provide capacity planning insights for pipeline opportunities
Identify and justify investments in tools, training, or additional resources
Risk Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the software delivery lifecycle
Maintain risk registers with clear mitigation strategies
Proactively communicate risks to stakeholders with recommended actions
Implement early warning systems for delivery risks
Conduct post-mortems to prevent recurring issues
Required Qualifications
Experience
8+ years in software delivery, solution architecture, or technical program management
Proven track record of managing complex software deliveries from concept to production
Experience presenting technical solutions to executive and customer audiences
Demonstrated success supporting sales/pre-sales technical activities
Background in vendor management and multi-party solution delivery
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles
Hands-on development background with ability to assess technical feasibility
Experience with full-stack development and system integration
Proficiency with modern delivery tools and methodologies
Understanding of modern development practices including agile methodologies, DevOps, and quality processes
Business & Communication Skills
Exceptional presentation skills - comfortable presenting to CEOs, CTOs, and boards
Ability to create compelling visual narratives for technical solutions
Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
Strong commercial awareness with understanding of software economics
Proven ability to support sales pursuits and win deals
