ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own, maintain, enhance, and support software platforms used for product qualification, hardware validation, and laboratory operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom test applications, databases, reporting systems, and test automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain test tools, automation frameworks, test components, measurement platforms, and test station user interfaces.
• Drive end-to-end integration across software applications, databases, backend services, and user interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system integration, data flow, logging, database, and test execution issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Collaborate with Hardware R&D and engineering teams to understand testing requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve test efficiency, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
• Manage and support SQL database frameworks, reporting systems, web-based reporting and analytics tools.
• Support data processing, storage, visualization, and secure data transfer between remote test workstations, centralized servers, and global engineering sites.
• Ensure data integrity, availability, security, and traceability across validation and test systems.
• Partner with Network Support teams to improve data transfer performance and ensure application-level cybersecurity compliance.
• Implement application security practices including authentication, authorization, secure coding, data encryption, and vulnerability remediation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software/system support, preferably supporting engineering, laboratory, testing, or hardware validation environments.
• Strong hands-on programming experience with C, C++, Python, and C#.
• Experience developing and supporting test applications, automation solutions, databases, and reporting systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Programming: C, C++, Python, C#
• Database: Microsoft SQL Server
• IDE: Microsoft Visual Studio
• Web/Application Server: Microsoft IIS
• Web Framework: Microsoft ASP.NET
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support mission-critical laboratory operations.
