About the Project
DBot Software is supporting a global leader in industrial automation and smart manufacturing solutions with a large-scale Manufacturing Execution System (MES) / PLEX project.
We are seeking Software Engineers with strong client-facing skills to join the dedicated project team. You will work directly with international experts from Europe and the USA, interacting with clients on a daily basis to clarify requirements, align on deliverables, and ensure smooth project execution. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy combining technical work with direct client collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Work full-time as part of an international project team
- Act as a primary client-facing engineer, engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
- Participate in the customization and implementation of MES/PLEX solutions.
- Perform basic coding in Java and SQL, with structured training provided.
- Collaborate with global teams across Europe/USA time zones
- Apply knowledge of factory automation to support solution design (preferred).
- Be flexible to work 2 - 3 days onsite per week on average, with some project phases requiring up to 5 days/week.
- Follow structured SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
Requirements
- Mandatory: Experience in client-facing roles, including requirement gathering and direct interaction with international teams.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java and SQL.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Interest in manufacturing systems, with exposure to factory automation (preferred).
- Ability to work hybrid with onsite presence in Bangkok as required.
- Willingness to work occasional evening calls with international teams.
- Thai national only as fluency in Thai is mandatory
