Job Overview: Software Engineer taking the ownership for delivering good service to customers globally in resolving
PAS|X software –or related issues, and ensuring to achieve the expected service level agreement (SLA) by using
standardized procedures and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot both functional and technical issues of the product which may be related to
other IT areas (e.g. network, OS)
- Follow-up and ensure ticket is created, updated, and resolved within SLA
- Liaise and collaborate with our global head quarter to team up for knowledge transfer, and process
improvement activities
- Properly escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate internal, external teams following the workflow in a
timely manner
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering or related field
- Knowledge in business process oriented
- Knowledge in writing SQL queries in Databases (Oracle, Postgres), able to read and understand SQL
scripts
- Able to analyze OS (Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), application and database logs
- Ability to work in flexible hours, and shifts hours
- English language skill is a must
Beneficial Experience
- Experienced working on applications: MES, ERP is preferred
- Basic knowledge in Unix (Linux) command/shell scripts is preferred
- Basic knowledge in Kubernetes is preferred
- Basic knowledge in Docker Swarm is a plus
- Basic knowledge in Java programming is a plus
- Background experience in Programmer Analyst, System Analyst, or System Architect is preferred
