We are looking for an experienced software developer to join the Application Engineering team in the Systems group, based in the firm's offices in Hyderabad. The team is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale applications and their surrounding infrastructure. The team specializes in web application development, improving end-user productivity, and enhancing developer experience. Its expertise spans web and mobile application development, application infrastructure, and CI/CD tooling. WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will execute projects and deliverables while collaborating with business units and other teams in Systems to enhance product offerings. You will lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements collection and analysis, architectural design, implementation, and deployment to clients. Your responsibilities will also include implementing CI/CD pipelines, integrating observability solutions, enforcing security best practices, and engineering systems to meet demanding performance, scalability, and availability targets. You will collaborate closely with developers and other technology teams, mentor junior engineers, and lead technical design reviews to ensure solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with firmwide standards.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The ideal candidate should hold-
Basic qualifications:
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in maintaining and engineering enterprise-level applications, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
- Experience with a variety of programming languages and development environments, focusing on platform-agnostic software for Linux and Windows. Preferred languages include Python, JavaScript, Java, and Go. Advanced knowledge of front-end technologies like React and other modern JavaScript frameworks is also desired
- Advanced knowledge of architecture, software design principles, and experience with microservices, containerization, CI/CD, and event-based systems. Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- An understanding of software development principles, quantitative abilities, data structures, problem-solving, and robust analytical skills with an ability to work in an agile environment
- The capability to lead project execution, including the ability to translate complex data into understandable results
- Excellent interpersonal communication, and stakeholder management skills
