Role Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test suites covering functional, regression, exploratory and performance testing.
- Lead system integration testing with other system owners to validate cross-system interactions.
- Take risk-based approach to test automation, prioritizing critical functionality for maximum impact.
- Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Manage defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution to ensure seamless delivery.
- Collaborate with product owners and business analyst to define clear and actionable user story accepatnce criteria.
- Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and regulatory standards.
- Take on a secondary role as an application performance engineer or application security engineer to expand testing coverage beyond functional aspects.
Reqirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience of working experience in automated software testing for web, mobile and API services.
- Experience with test automation framework such as Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework, Cypress, EggPlant, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, along with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C#)
- Experience withintegrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo)
- Strong understanding of agile testing methodologies including TDD, BDD, and exploratory testing.
- Strong problem-solving, and communication skills
