Solution and Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

A Solution and Cloud Architect is an IT specialist who develops solutions with cloud computing strategy. This strategy incorporates cloud adoption and migration plans, cloud application solution design as well as cloud management and monitoring. Additional responsibilities include support for application team for architecture related and governance cloud environments implementation.

Responsibilities:

Provide cloud technology expertise and leadership to help drive success in the company and cloud strategy initiatives and priorities.

Identify top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company. Create well-informed cloud strategies and manage the adoption and communication processes.

Develop and coordinate cloud architecture and designs across diverse areas including application development, identity and access management, network and data management and more.

Collaborate with other departments to implement architecture changes, build a good rapport with other architects and work towards supporting them in their respective areas related to cloud technology.

Develop methodology to automate cloud services and must make sure that any error will not impact the speed and agility of cloud benefits.

Identify any comprehensive risks and come up with a risk-mitigation-mapping matrix to avoid them. Work in coordination with the technology security and risk departments.

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in one or more Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google, etc. in a wide range of services.

Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying solutions in Cloud platform, on-premises, and Hybrid environments. Networking knowledge is a big plus.

Experience and knowledge in implementing API Gateway, Relational databases, NoSQL databases, Cloud security, and API security.

Solid knowledge in Cloud Computing, Platform As a Service, Infrastructure As A Service, Microservices and Serverless Architecture.

Good knowledge and experience in Cloud DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Action).

Software development process knowledge for consultant an adoption of CI/CD to venders release process in the provided solution.

Expert in containerization technology, Docker and Kubernetes. Able to provide consultant on migration from other platforms into Kubernetes.

Strong analytic skills for provide consultant on complex issues.

Project management knowledge for providing consultant on implementation/migration of complex projects.

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Azure log analytics.

Any Cloud Technology Professional Certifications will be a plus.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field is preferable.

Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Cloud design and architecture, development, integration, deployment, automation, transition and migration.

Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills to manage project stakeholders.
