We are looking for someone to join our company and push the frontiers of enterprise AI further.
This is not going to be just another architecture job. Right now the scope is heavy on system design and turning business requirements into functional requirements for a large greenfield insurance platform, alongside leading a small team and owning the client relationship. After that, as part of our global team, you will take on whatever comes next.
So we are not hiring a specialist for one engagement. We want someone who can handle whatever lands on their desk. The architects who do well here treat specification work as part of building software properly rather than a detour from it, and expect to move between design, delivery, and hands-on engineering as the work demands.
Being a startup, direction and execution clarity are often vague, iterative, and less structured. If you thrive in a place where autonomy given is high, and are able to translate broad visions to concrete steps, this is for you.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end system design across services, data models, integrations, and non-functional requirements
- Translate business requirements into clear, detailed, testable functional requirements
- Run workshops with client business, compliance, and tech teams, and carry designs through to sign-off
- Lead a team of 3 to 5 engineers, setting technical direction and mentoring the people on it
- Maintain coding and documentation standards
- Move onto new engagements, internal products, and hands-on engineering as our portfolio evolves
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 6+ years of relevant work experience, with time spent designing systems end to end
- Professional English and native Thai
Must Have
- Track record delivering large systems in a regulated domain, ideally insurance, banking, or government
- FRDs or functional specifications you have authored and can walk us through
- Solid TypeScript/JS and Python experience, with the ability to write production code when the work calls for it
- React, Node/Express, REST APIs, Git, Docker, Linux
- Understanding of embeddings, vector stores, and LLM orchestration patterns
- Experience leading engineers, formally or informally
- Comfort making architecture calls under incomplete information and defending them in front of a client
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable in ambiguity, genuinely interested in unfamiliar problems
