Job Summary
The Solution Architect (Network & Infrastructure) is responsible for designing and assuring secure, scalable, and resilient cloud, infrastructure, and network architectures that support the virtual bank's digital platforms and critical banking services. This role provides architectural leadership across projects, ensuring alignment with business needs, regulatory requirements, and banking-grade security and availability standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end infrastructure and network architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments for virtual banking platforms
- Define and maintain architecture standards, principles, reference architectures, and design patterns for infrastructure and network domains
- Lead solution design and architecture reviews to ensure scalability, performance, security, and resilience
- Collaborate with application, data, security, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated and compliant solutions
- Design secure network connectivity including cloud networking (VPC/VNet), VPN, firewall, load balancing, segmentation, and zero-trust concepts
- Ensure infrastructure and network designs comply with regulatory, security, and risk requirements applicable to banking and financial services
- Provide architectural guidance for infrastructure automation, cloud adoption, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- Support disaster recovery, high availability, and operational resilience planning
- Review and assess vendor and partner architecture proposals and technical deliverables
- Act as a technical advisor and mentor to engineering and project teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
- 812+ years of experience in infrastructure, network, or solution architecture roles
- Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Solid expertise in enterprise network architecture, cloud networking, and security design
- Experience working in regulated environments such as banking, financial services, or fintech is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps practices, and cloud security frameworks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Cloud, network, or security certifications (e.g. AWS/Azure Architect, CCNP/CCIE, CISSP) are an advantage
