Solutions Consultant (IT Solutions)
Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Hybrid)
Reporting to: Head of Professional Services, Sales Head
Compensation Structure: Base Salary + Variable
The Solution Consultant serves as the primary technical bridge between our sales team and our clients. You will be responsible for translating complex business challenges into scalable IT solutions, conducting high-impact demonstrations, and ensuring the technical viability of every deal within the Thailand market.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end technical solutions (Cloud, Cybersecurity, or SaaS) and prepare the Bill of Materials (BoM) and Scope of Work (SoW).
- Technical Advocacy: Deliver persuasive product demonstrations and technical presentations to C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead and manage PoC engagements, ensuring that the solution meets the client's success criteria in their local environment.
- Tender Management: Take the lead on the technical portions of RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, particularly for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and large financial institutions.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on the Thailand IT landscape, including local regulations (e.g., OJK/BSSN compliance) and competitor movements.
- Partner Enablement: Train and support local distributors and channel partners to improve their technical selling capabilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Experience: 3–7 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting within the IT industry.
- Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or Security (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto).
- Familiarity with Thailand data residency and compliance laws (PP 71/2019, etc.).
- Language: Native-level fluency in Thai and professional proficiency in English (essential for vendor coordination and documentation).
- Soft Skills: Strong lobbying and relationship-building skills; ability to simplify complex tech for non-technical business owners.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Azure Architect.
- Cisco CCNP or Fortinet NSE 4/5/7.
- ITIL Foundation or PMP (a plus for large-scale enterprise projects).
