Senior Solution Architect Banking
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture design across banking domains (Retail, Corporate, Payments, Lending, Digital Channels, Risk & Compliance)
- Define high-level architecture (HLD), integration patterns, APIs, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Ensure security, scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance in all solution designs
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and lead architecture workshops
- Govern architecture throughout the project lifecycle and support pre-sales activities (RFP/RFI, solution presentation)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in Solution Architecture
- Proven experience in the Banking / Financial Services industry
- Strong knowledge of core banking platforms and enterprise integration
- Familiar with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, BIAN) and SDLC / CI-CD
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- TOGAF or equivalent EA certification
- Cloud Architect certification (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in an IT Consulting or System Integrator (SI) environment
- Core banking vendor certifications
