About the Job
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and innovative IT solutions that align with business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will involve ensuring the integration of various systems and technologies, optimizing performance, and maintaining security standards. You will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects.
Tasks
- Design and develop comprehensive IT solutions that meet business needs and align
with business strategic goals.
- Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based solutions on AWS
and/or Azure platforms
- Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams,
patterns, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them
into technical solutions
- Guide development teams in implementing architectural decisions and best practices
- Define integration strategies between various systems, services, and external platforms
- Establish standards for cloud resource provisioning, security configurations, and
infrastructure as code
- Develop data modeling strategies optimized for MongoDB's document-oriented
structure
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system health and
performance
- Lead architectural reviews and governance to maintain system integrity and alignment
with business goals
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to improve system
capabilities
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in architecture and
design.
- Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance system intelligence and
automation capabilities
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work
experience)
- 7+ years of experience in software architecture and system design
- Proven experience designing and implementing solutions with experience in MongoDB
at scale
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture on AWS and/or Azure platforms
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM
templates)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven
systems
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms
(Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to cloud development
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud
environments
- Understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, and
CDNs
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical considerations with
business requirements
