About the Company: GP Electronics & Acoustics Co., Ltd. is strong in manufacturing of high-performance professional audio products and speaker systems using on stage and for professional performances.
About the Role: Responsible for establishing long-term and short-term planning to support the company development and strategic business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Source and develop local suppliers on mechanical parts such as plastic, metal, PCB as well as packing, to support Thailand operations.
- Responsible to lead a team of professional sourcing people to implement the action items to ensure that the set goals are achieved.
- Analyze the market environment, industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity and or alternative of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities.
- Systematically evaluate suppliers core competencies and competitive positioning in order to ensure they are the right strategy partners with the company.
- Manage the suppliers performance analysis to ensure they maintain at competitiveness level (On time delivery / Trend / Price / Capability / Production capacity).
- Maintain and develop supplier relationships (trade shows, regular supplier meetings, conferences, etc.).
- Establish sourcing policies and system to ensure compliance.
- Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organization.
- Develop, train and provide guidance to the subordinates in various levels in order to groom people within the team and meet longer term company development needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree holder or above in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of Sundry sourcing is definitely an advantage.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience with 3 years at managerial level.
- Experience in high quality audio / high-end electronics products or related products preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills and experience.
- Strong ability and willingness to drive for result and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of electronic consumer products is a must.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgments.
- Excellent negotiation and organizing skills with ability to communicate effectively with technical disciplines both internally and externally.
- Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- Able to work in agile and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in English. Fluent in speaking Chinese and Thai will be an advantage.
