Role Summary
This role centers on strengthening sourcing operations by implementing best practices, improving efficiency, and ensuring consistent performance across accounts. We are looking for a results-driven Sourcing Operations leader focused on driving operational excellence, process standardization, and performance improvement across client accounts. Experienced in partnering with account and operational teams to implement sourcing best practices, streamline workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Core Responsibilities
Sourcing Operations Leadership
- Partner with account and operational teams to implement best-in-class sourcing practices
- Drive efficiencies through process standardization, workflow optimization, and elimination of operational bottlenecks
- Lead key sourcing initiatives that improve quality, cycle times, cost control, and overall account performance
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistent execution and compliance with sourcing standards
- Identify performance gaps and implement structured corrective action plans
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, and operational metrics to continuously improve delivery
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring operational challenges
- Design and implement scalable process improvements across sourcing activities
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance consistency and client outcomes
- Support change management efforts tied to sourcing transformation programs
- Align sourcing execution with broader commercial and operational objectives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a central liaison between sourcing, account management, operations, and enabling teams
- Facilitate clear ownership, accountability, and communication across stakeholders
- Support alignment between client objectives and operational delivery models
- Ensure initiatives are implemented effectively within live operational environments
Technology Enablement (Supporting Function)
- Ensure sourcing processes are effectively supported by existing technology platforms
- Promote correct system usage and best-practice workflows
- Identify gaps between operational needs and system capabilities
- Translate sourcing requirements into structured enhancement requests
- Support rollout and adoption of new platform features that improve operational performance
- Provide structured triage and escalation of system-related issues
Qualifications
- Experience leading or supporting sourcing, procurement, or commerce operations
