As a Sourcing Specialist, your role involves balancing multiple objectives to achieve optimal results. You will focus on securing the best contractual conditionals by negotiating favorable terms, ensuring cost-efficiency, and maintaining supplier relationships. This requires a deep understanding of market trends, product needs and business goals.
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with Global Category Team on Sourcing Category Strategy, Supplier Selection and Onboarding, and Supplier Negotiations to achieve deflation initiatives
Defining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers
Developing and executing long term strategies for the assigned commodity, ensuring best performance for New Product Introduction, First Article and Order to Receipt (OTR) Procurement
Managing Supplier Delivery and Quality Performance, Cost and Inventory management, and Supplier Relationship Management
Collaborating with Supplier Quality Team for Supplier Performance and Quality issues
Developing Sourcing initiatives for product cost out initiatives, deflation, cycle time reduction, BCC Sourcing and cash flow improvement (e.g. rebate, payment terms)
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
Have at least 3 years in Sourcing
Have procurement experience in SAP and Ariba system
Have a good communication and negotiation skills, as well as good organizational and time management skills
Have a good knowledge of Purchasing practices, principles and procedures
Be good at communicating in English language
