Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new local and international suppliers
• Develop and manage the supply base for assigned purchasing commodities
• Lead supplier selection processes for new and existing products
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing agreements
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management teams
• Support new product development through strategic sourcing activities
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure alignment with company standards
• Contribute to supply chain efficiency and risk mitigation strategies
• Analyze market trends and sourcing opportunities to ensure competitive advantage

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Supply Chain, Materials Engineering, or a related field
• Strong negotiation skills with proven results
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure with autonomy and limited supervision
• Solid project management and problem-solving capabilities
• Skilled in data analysis and interpretation of reports
• Proficient in report creation, progress tracking, and KPI monitoring
• First experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the aviation industry
• Background in purchasing and engineering, with strong technical and commercial knowledge
• Familiarity with information systems such as LN or other ERP platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Proactive and positive can-do attitude
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects, coordinate resources, and anticipate risks
• High level of integrity and a proactive mindset
• Strong business orientation with advanced negotiation skills
