Set to open in mid-2026, THE BARAI HUA HIN is a beachfront luxury resort featuring 98 rooms and suites that will become part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, located along the serene Khao Takiab coastline. Designed as a haven of peace and rejuvenation, the resort combines THE BARAI's iconic architectural grace with personalized sensory experiences that reflect the essence of Thai hospitality.

Description

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Sous Chef - Bakery is responsible for overseeing all pastry and bakery production, ensuring quality, consistency, and creativity in line with the hotel's standards and financial objectives.

Qualifications

  • Ideally with a Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Chef de Partie - Pastry or Bakery in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards or 3-4 years as Demi Chef de Partie in luxury international brands
  • Deep understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen compliance standards
  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office and general computer literacy
