BASIC INFORMATION

Job Title: Sales Manager Southeast Asia

Department: Sales

Report to: Vice President of Sales in USA Headquarters

Immediate subordinates: N/A

Location: Based in Bangkok metropolitan area or Eastern Seaboard of Thailand

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Develop and maintain business accounts and manage sales projects to continuously achieve company marketing and sales goals.

KEY TASKS

  • Responsible for Identified areas for growing business within the region;
  • Identify and qualify new potential customers
  • Develop new business accounts together with Sales teams;
  • Handles large accounts and complex or difficult technical sales.
  • Manage sales orders and projects.
  • Maintain excellent network with existing/new customer base;
  • Continuously conduct competitive analysis in terms of market and product to keep the organization always in a competitive position and win market share;
  • Work for sales result.
  • Make customer visits in SE Asia
  • Market research and networking in the cold forming manufacturing market

Job Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE

What non-academic knowledge is important

  • Understand machinery and preferably be familiar with application of cold forming tooling, including Tools design, making process.
  • Company product sales experience including knowledge of product features, benefits and use.
  • Fluent in Thai and English in oral and written. Additional languages from SE Asia preferred.

Education/Experience

The minimum level of education/qualifications to undertake the work satisfactorily and the necessary experience.

  • Bachelor of engineering, preferably mechanical
  • Preferred is at least 5 years capital equipment sales / project experience with a western company of automated machinery or products.
  • Good marketing, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Able to accept feedback from team members
  • Mature, positive thinking, result oriented, can work under pressure.
  • Frequent travel required.
  • Understand commercial issues

Key management skills required.

  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to accept feedback from team members
  • Research and network to gain potential customers
