Job Purpose
We are looking for a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Operations Specialist to take ownership of our multi-cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this high-impact role, you will shape how we build, run, and scale our infrastructure, championing DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and a relentless automation-first mindset.
You will also serve as the bridge between engineering excellence and day-to-day operations: crafting clear procedures and runbooks for our L1/L2 support teams, managing the service provider responsible for our NOC and daily operations, and ensuring our Microsoft ecosystem (Entra ID, M365, Intune) runs seamlessly across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Operation Management
- Own and optimize our multi-cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on GCP
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain secondary cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Others) and drive consolidation strategies where relevant.
Microsoft Ecosystem Management
- Administer and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Teams.
- Ensure identity governance, conditional access policies, and security baselines are properly maintained.
On premise infrastructure
- Support on-premises infrastructure (firewalls, switches, servers, storage...)
- Actively participate to the migration of on-premises infrastructure to the cloud
DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and AI
- Drive Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible...
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and application delivery.
- Drive containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to eliminate repetitive tasks and reduce operational toil.
- Leverage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate scripting, IaC development, and troubleshooting workflows
- Identify and propose automation opportunities using AI/ML : e.g., intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, predictive capacity planning, auto-remediation of common incidents
- Build AI-powered operational workflows using tools like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate with AI Builder, or Google Cloud's AI/ML services (Vertex AI, Document AI) to streamline repetitive operational tasks
- Develop smart runbooks and self-healing scripts that use AI to triage, diagnose, and resolve common infrastructure issues before they reach L1/L2
Service Management & L1/L2 Support Enablement
- Write and maintain clear, actionable documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and runbooks for L1 and L2 support teams.
- Manage and oversee the outsourced service provider responsible for the NOC, L1/L2 support, and daily infrastructure operations.
- Define SLAs, KPIs, and escalation procedures; conduct regular service reviews with vendors.
- Act as the escalation point (L3) for complex infrastructure incidents.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT Business Units, Security, Service Desk, Asset & Procurement) to deliver seamless services.
- Lead capacity planning efforts and ensure infrastructure scales with organizational growth.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and vendors to enhance our tech stack.
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering or a similar senior operations role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or strong experience with AWS with a desire to learn GCP.
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem: Entra ID, M365 administration, Intune, Exchange Online.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation: Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
- Experience managing outsourced service providers / Managed Service Providers (MSPs), including SLA management and performance reviews.
- Strong documentation skills : ability to produce clear SOPs and runbooks for operational teams.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, load balancers).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident/problem/change management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Comfortable using AI assistants (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) as daily productivity tools for code generation, documentation, troubleshooting, and analysis
- Proactive mindset toward AI-driven automation : ability to identify where AI can replace manual effort and propose practical implementations
- English Language: Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English.
