Job description
- Engage with stakeholders to identify business needs, build relationships, and promote early procurement involvement.
- Develop and manage sourcing and category plans for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with forecasting and savings throughout the procurement cycle.
- Oversee vendor selection and management, addressing performance issues with business owners.
- Negotiate with suppliers to improve business and re-negotiate contracts for better savings.
- Prepare documentation for acquiring materials and services.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through outstanding service.
- Review supplies and services for compliance with procedures and best practices.
- Update IT Procurement Cluster Head on progress and potential delays.
- Maintain positive relationships with strategic suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Analyze market trends to develop procurement technologies and processes.
- Manage purchase order cycles and handle category management.
- Lead medium complexity commercial negotiations.
- Administer IT contracts, including renewals, true-ups, service level compliance, and authorizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computing Studies, IT or related fields.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years focused on IT procurement.
- Expertise in procurement best practices, contract management, negotiation strategies, supplier relationship management, and IT products/services, including industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, project management, analytical, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
