Specialist, Safety Engineering, you will ensure a safe and compliant working environment by developing and implementing effective safety systems, conducting risk assessments, and leading safety initiatives across the manufacturing site.
- Safety Program Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
- Risk Assessment & Machinery Safety
- Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses.
- Identify potential workplace hazards and establish preventive measures.
- Assess machinery operations, promote safe work practices, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Management of Change (MOC)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of changes on safety, health, and environment.
- Conduct risk assessments for proposed changes and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during change implementation.
- Safety Inspections & Audits
- Perform regular safety inspections to detect and correct potential hazards.
- Work closely with relevant departments to resolve safety issues promptly.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Analyze findings to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Stay up to date with occupational health and safety laws, standards, and regulations.
- Ensure that all operations and activities comply with legal and company requirements.
- Emergency Response
- Support the development and testing of Emergency Response Plans (ERP).
- Coordinate safety drills and promote preparedness across departments.
