You will drive the commercial growth of the organization's sports ecosystemcovering events, partnerships, training camps, hospitalitylinked sports offerings, and international market expansion. This role requires a commercially driven leader with a strong background in sports industry sales, the ability to attract global clients, and the vision to elevate the venue into a premier sports destination in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Commercial Growth
- Develop and execute business strategies to expand sportsrelated revenue streams, including events, tournaments, sports tourism, academies, and training camps.
- Identify, pitch, and convert international and regional partners such as rightsholders, sports federations, clubs, brands, and event organizers.
Sales & Marketing Leadership
- Lead the sales pipeline for sports products and services, ensuring revenue targets are met.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to position the venue as a leading sports destination through targeted campaigns and commercial packaging.
Client & Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with global and regional stakeholders across the sports and hospitality ecosystem.
- Represent the organization at conferences, exhibitions, and industry platforms globally.
CrossFunctional Leadership
- Work closely with operations, events, golf, fitness, hospitality, and F&B teams to ensure seamless execution of sports programs.
- Support the development of bundled sportshospitality offerings, combining venues, accommodations, and services.
Qualifications
- Foreign candidate; native English speaker preferred, Thai also welcome.
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the sports industry (sports events, sports tourism, sponsorship, endurance sports, golf, or related sectors).
- Demonstrated track record of achieving measurable sales results.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, sportshospitality environments).
- Ability to communicate in Thai is an advantage.
- Experience working in Asia or within multicultural organizations.
