Job Title: SQL Server Administrator

Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SQL Server Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure MS SQL Server environments across development, test, and production. The role focuses on database performance, availability, security, and high‑availability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server (2016+) environments

• Monitor database performance, uptime, and capacity

• Manage backups, restores, disaster recovery, and HA/DR (Always On AG, clustering)

• Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning

• Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments, upgrades, and migrations

• Implement database security, roles, permissions, and compliance controls

• Automate DBA tasks using T‑SQL, PowerShell, and SQL Server Agent

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on SQL Server DBA experience

• Strong expertise in performance tuning, execution plans, indexing, and Query Store

• Experience with HA/DR, backup & recovery strategies

• Knowledge of database security and auditing

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure SQL / AWS RDS

• Snowflake exposure

• SQL Server certifications (MCSA/MCSE)

• Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Redgate)
