Job Description
· Own many aspects of concept, design, development, and product quality with a strong emphasis on technical excellence.
· Take responsibility for the endtoend design process, from concept part setting to creating 2D/3D parts from Asurface to achieve product targets by self.
· Develop plastic, steel parts and perform rigidity analysis at both singlepart and system levels, including troubleshooting and proposing effective countermeasures.
· Drive technical alignment with crossfunctional teams (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Styling Design and Performance development team), both domestically and internationally.
· Serve as Person in Charge for assigned parts, leading technical discussions, making engineering judgements, and driving issue resolution across related functions.
· Lead and guide members by providing technical direction, review, and coaching.
Develop and review engineering specifications and cost estimates.
Qualification
· 7+ years automotive design experience (plastic and steel parts)..
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering fields.
· Proficient in CATIA with excellent 2D layout, 3D Surface modeling and drawings.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
· Strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation and systematic, logical thinking.
· Good selfplanning and organizational skills.
· Strong passion for automotive engineering design.
· English TOEIC 550 or equivalent basic working English.
· Able to lead technical discussions and clearly explain design concepts, issues, and countermeasures in English.
