We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our growing Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) organization. If you have a passion for supply chain management, supplier negotiations, and ensuring material availability to support world-class manufacturing operations, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure electronic components, raw materials, and indirect materials to support production requirements.
- Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and supply continuity.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and service.
- Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Production, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability and minimize supply disruptions.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by identifying and qualifying suppliers and materials.
- Analyze inventory levels and material requirements to optimize stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Monitor market trends, component lead times, and supply chain risks.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare purchasing reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and supplier performance.
Qualifications
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
✔ Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain, preferably within the EMS, Electronics, Semiconductor, or Manufacturing industry.
✔ Experience in sourcing electronic components and managing supplier relationships.
✔ Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
