Job Description

The Sr. Process Engineer will be responsible for leading process development, optimization, and technological improvements for Thermal Interface Material (TIM) products used in electronics, automotive, and industrial applications. This role ensures stable, efficient, and safe manufacturing processes while supporting scaleup, cost reduction, quality improvement, and new product introduction.

Key responsibilities.

  • Establish, monitor, and control SPC for all in-process parameters to ensure process consistency and compliance.
  • Analyze process data, identify trends, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Conduct and oversee laboratory testing of plating baths, chemical solutions, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Interpret lab test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions or process adjustments.
  • Responsible for monitoring chemical condition of plating baths and water treatment and supervises lab technicians
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control plans.
  • Optimize plating line processes to achieve consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Investigate and solve process related failures by driving to root cause
  • Assures that process related SOP's and work instructions received from other facilities are fully applicable to local situations, are translated to the local language, and are available and properly understood by production personnel
  • To implement, maintain and comply with all Solstice's Health, Safety, Environmental and Security policies, procedures, work instruction, standards or best practices and applicable Law & regulations, that related to their job/function.
