about the job
- Lead structural design schemes, feasibility analyses, cost comparisons, and construction drawing management for data center projects.
- Manage external design teams and consultants, providing practical recommendations and reviewing construction schemes to ensure top-tier technical quality.
- Provide technical support during project bidding and evaluation phases.
- Oversee structural technical controls, key design indicators, and contractor deliverables.
- Interpret geotechnical reports, assess soil conditions, and guide strategies for foundation systems, excavation support, and earthworks.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to optimize designs and swiftly resolve complex, on-site technical issues.
- Organize and oversee structural testing, project acceptance, and post-project technical modifications.
skills & experience required
- Msc / Degree in Civil Engineering
- Heavy civil engineering in Data Centre engineering project / Government army or related projects
- Min 4 years of relevant experience in structural design and consultancy
- Knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with Singapore authority submissions (e.g., BCA, JTC,MPA, PUB, SCDF, etc.)
- Experience in underground engineering, including geotechnical investigation, pile foundation works,basements, and foundation pit support wil be a plus
