About our group:

The Drive Test Engineering Department is responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) before they reach customers. The team conducts comprehensive testing under various environmental and operational conditions, analyzes failures, and supports continuous improvement across the production process. Our engineers work closely with cross-functional teams to design and optimize test plans, enhance automation systems, and resolve issues found during manufacturing. The department also manages and maintains essential test equipment-including environmental chambers, vibration and shock systems, burn-in racks, and consistent test results. Overall, Drive Test Engineering plays a critical role in delivering high-quality storage products by combining technical expertise, engineering analysis, and strong production support.

About the role - you will:

. Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including understanding of major components (compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion devices) and the ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance. . Basic understanding of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) operation, internal components, head-disk assembly, and HDD functional testing procedures. . Good knowledge of computer systems and hardware components with the ability to diagnose issues and perform basic repairs or system maintenance. . Proficiency in using essential diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, programmable power supplies, and other standard repair tools. . Solid understanding of electronic components and their operating principles (resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, diodes, ICs, etc.) . Strong knowledge of electrical systems, both AC and DC, with the ability to use electrical testing instruments accurately and safely. . Good knowledge of controllers and PLC systems, including basic programming, troubleshooting, and control logic understanding.

Your experience includes:

• Experience in maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems, with good knowledge of key components and how they work.
• Work experience related to Hard Disk Drives (HDD), including basic operation and handling.
• Experience in checking and repairing computer hardware, including basic troubleshooting of computer parts.
• Ability to use common diagnostic tools such as an oscilloscope, multimeter, programmable power supply, and other basic repair tools.
• Experience with electrical systems, both AC and DC, and skill in using electrical testing equipment safely and correctly.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing Controllers and PLC systems, with a good understanding of how they operate.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Skilled in using electrical measuring instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other signal analysis tools.
• English proficiency sufficient for reading technical manuals and basic communication.
• Highly responsible, diligent, honest, able to work in a team, and strictly follow factory safety regulations.
